NACB Referring Affiliate Member Company Program Terms and Conditions
Definitions

  • Course – an individual subject of instruction that typically is led by one or more instructors, and ranging from one (1) or more days.
  • Crane – load handling equipment used for hoisting and lowering and as defined by Federal, State, and Local standards as well as ASME, ISO and/or API Volumes.
  • On-Site Training Program – A course of instruction held and performed at a customer’s location, training only the customer or their contract personnel.
  • Inspection -  the process of inspecting cranes, rigging or equipment to a specified Federal, State, or Local standard and/or compliance to ASME volumes where applicable.
  • Regional/Sponsored Training Program – A course of instruction as specified in the NACB Catalog and/or NACB Website of Scheduled Programs, held at specific locations throughout the United States and Internationally, either at one of the NACB Regional Training Centers, Sponsor Training Centers, or other locations as specified.

Referral Commissions Paid

  • Client On-Site Training
    • 10% Course Commission - NACB will pay the Affiliate Member Company 10% of the charged daily rate not to exceed $1,895.00 on delivered programs.
    • NACB will pay the Affiliate Member Company this commission for each subsequent course NACB conducts for the member's customer.
    • The commission percentage is multiplied against NACB's daily training rate of up to $1,850 only, and No commission is paid on instructor travel, student training materials and other associated costs, these costs will be deducted from flat rate sales.
    • The commission is not due and payable by NACB unless and until the customer pays NACB for the course and completes the course.
    • Referrals are active for one (1) year and the Affiliate Member Company must complete the NACB referral form for credit
    • No recurring commissions – Affiliate Member Company will only be paid for courses personally initiated by referral forms
  • Regional or Sponsored Training Program Enrollment (NACB Catalog and/or NACB Website Scheduled Programs)
    • 15% Commission - NACB will pay the Affiliate Member Company 15% of each referred individual's registration fee paid to NACB for the training center course
    • Referrals are active for 6 months and Affiliate Member Company must complete referral form for credit.
    • Referrals must be completed prior to customer registering for a training center class; otherwise, no credit will be given.
    • The individual customer must pay for and complete the course before any commission is earned.
    • No recurring commissions – Affiliate Member Company will be paid a commission only for registrations personally initiated by referral forms.
  • Crane/equipment Inspection Referrals
    • 10% Commission - NACB will pay the Affiliate Member Company 10% of the charged daily rate no to exceed $1,795 on completed inspections or 10% of each unit(s) inspection cost should customer bid instructions call for per unit pricing (Affiliate Member will be copied on all per unit pricing).
    • The commission percentage is multiplied against NACB's daily inspection rate of $1,795 only, or by per unit rate where applicable, and No commission is paid on inspector travel, inspection materials and other associated costs, these costs will be deducted from flat rate sales.
    • Referrals are active for one (1) year and the Affiliate Member Company must complete the NACB referral form for credit
    • No recurring commissions – Affiliate Member Company will only be paid for inspections personally initiated by referral forms
  • Member Website Referrals
    • NACB will honor the above commission schedule when a Member's customer completes a contact form reached from a link on the member's website and after NACB receives its payment for its services and the customer completes the course.
  • General Terms
    • Commission checks will be mailed to the Affiliate Member Company at the end of each quarter only after the customer has paid NACB for the training program and completed the program.
    • After commission is paid, the Affiliate Member Company will distribute a percentage of the commission to the salesperson(s) according to their corporate policy. To facilitate commission distribution to the appropriate salesperson, NACB will inform Affiliate Member Company which representative initiated the referral. In the event of any dispute between the Affiliate Member Company and their salespersons concerning their entitlement to the commission, NACB will pay the commission to the Affiliate Member Company, and the Affiliate Member Company will determine and pay the appropriate share to the salesperson.

Agreement

  • By participating in NACB’s referring Affiliate Member Program, the Affiliate Member Company agrees to the above commission schedule and terms and conditions stated herein.
  • Affiliate Members must be approved by NACB to participate in this program.
  • The designated NACB Training Affiliate Network Member must require that Affiliate Member Company salesperson(s) will participate in a 30-minute web-based sales training session.
  • The Affiliate Member salesperson who submitted the training request may attend client-site training if the customer allows.
  • NACB has the right to ban Affiliate Members and revoke their membership from the Affiliate Network if they begin competing with NACB, disparage NACB, or become averse to NACB in any way.
  • Only one commission for each referred customer is due and payable for delivered programs.

NACB Training Network Portal

  • Members may access all information and submit training requests through the Affiliate Network Portal, located on the cranesafe.com homepage, or at http://www.cranesafe.com/network

Sales Materials & Training

  • NACB's training program information and descriptions are available for download in the Affiliate Network Portal
  • Per Affiliate Member request, NACB will host an online seminar training session for a Member's sales team.

General Conditions

  • NACB has been in business more than 30 years and has accumulated an active client database of over 20,000. There are in excess of 2,000 active training and inspection clients in the U.S. and around the world. NACB only pays commissions for training clients who are new training and inspection clients, acquired through the NACB Affiliate Network. Upon request and deemed necessary by NACB management, NACB may provide a zip code range listing of current training, inspection, and consulting clients in the Affiliate Member Company's coverage area.
  • The terms and conditions for the referring Affiliate Member Program are subject to change without notice to the Affiliate Member Company.  See NACB’s current website for the updated terms and conditions and payment schedules.
  • NACB (or sister company(s), affiliates, etc.) employees are not allowed to participate in this program.
